Adela Soto

Adela Soto has been singing and making noise as long as she can remember. A product of the Miami Dade School System, Adela has been involved in the performing arts since joining a theatre program in the 3rd grade. In 2011, Adela was a founding member of a new community choir called The Children’s Voice Chorus. After singing with them through their school age years and then graduating high school, they kept finding themself coming back to the organization. First as a summer camp employee, then as a member of the board of directors, and then Kindermusik instructor. Now, under the new name of Vocal Youth Miami, Adela serves as a Program Support Coordinator and Kindermusik Instructor.

Currently, they are earning a degree in Early Childhood Education at Miami Dade College. Adela is passionate about creating safe spaces for students to show up authentically and creating environments where everyone can learn.
